I feeel so honored to be selected as one of 50 semi-finalists in Miss Universe Norway! Looking forward to meet all the contestants and get an insight into the process of the beauty pageant on Saturday. There is no better way to be celebrating valentinesday than to meet beautiful and strong personalities who share the same dream as me. 
 
My name is Sonia Singh, I am 23 years old and I hold a bachelor degree in Psychology from Birkbeck, University of London. As you can see from my appearance I have an Indian background but I am Norwegian by heart. I feel very fortunate to be born in a peaceful and harmonious country where morals are placed very high. Last year I won the title Miss India Norway 2014 and got to represent my country in Miss India Worldwide in Dubai with 39 other beauty queens from all over the world, with Indian heritage. I felt so privileged to be announced as Miss Norway for the week I spent in Dubai.
 
I used to watch Miss Universe with my dad as a little girl and I could not even imagine that I could be standing on such a big platform one day. As I have grown older and learned to tackle obstacles and strive to reach different goals I have also developed a firm belief that anyone can accomplish any goal if they put their mind to it. 
 
Miss Universe Norway to me is not only a beauty competition. It is an opportunity to meet wonderful people and it will give me personal insight and room for development. I am really looking forward to this journey and I hope to gain great eperience from it!

Vårt løpende uttak for 2026 er nå avsluttet og vi holder på å fullføre kursingen. Vi kommer tilbake med påmelding for 2027 når dette er klart. For å forberede deg til å delta neste år, les gjerne bloggene til årets deltakere, og kom på finalen i august. Semifinaleuttak blir gjort i mars og finaleuttak i april. Følg med!
