Hei alle sammen. I dag har tusenvis av mennesker gjort denne lille søte guttens dag, Seth Lane.
Seth Lane er en gutt på 5 år som ble født uten immunnsystem. Etter en benmargstransplantasjon for å prøve å leve et normalt liv som gikk galt, har han levd i en boble. Det er viktig å vise at man bryr seg, og støtter de som kjemper en hard kamp.
Selv om han er ute av stand til å forlate rommet sitt, er han definitivt ikke alene. Mennesker fra hele verden har vist sin støtte ved å ta på seg noe gult, og vise at vi bryr oss og heier på han. Mange har postet bilder på instagram, facebook, twitter og med hashtag #Wearyellowforseth.
Selv har jeg tatt på meg noe gult, og mange fra skolen min. Både elever, og lærere! Syntes det er kjempe fint å se at så mange stiller opp, og at vi sammen viser respekt.
Det er viktig å vite at man ikke er alene, og hjelpe hverandre♥

I have always believed in myself and my potential, not only regarding what I can do for myself but also what I can do for others. I want to live my life for others. Smile at strangers, help people with the smallest tasks they are having difficulties with, spread love and positivity, motivate people to understand their potential, help people in need, inspire people and always remember the less fortunate people even on the other side of this world. Always aim to dedicate my life to help others in every possible way. I believe there is sooo much more we can do than what we are doing today.
In the end, “I just want to know that I gave my all, did my best, brought someone some happiness, left this world a little better just because I was here”.
Some people go that extra mile to make a difference in someone’s life while others donate some money and hope for the help to reach people in need. I believe we should do everything in our power to make a difference, show the word that if we all reach out our hand to the helpless people on the other side of the world we can improve so many lives, together.
We live in the same world, we stand on the same mother earth and I believe we have a mutual responsibility as human beings on this heaven-like world to make it a better place for everyone. We will realize the meaning of true happiness when we dedicate our lives to others. I from now on promise to act upon my responsibilities in this life I am blessed with.
The thought of the opportunity to be the beauty queen representing my mother-land Norway has started to change me as a person. I have become more aware of my surroundings. I am not longer polite because of the norm to be kind towards others, I am genuinely starting to care about people around me and I am starting to notice how much warmth and positivity I get in return. I am starting to feel that people appreciate my presence so much more. I am starting to understand the essence of life. Thank you Miss Universe Norway.
