Hello!

On Monday I had a trip to Tønsberg with my good friend Renate, which came along as my personal assistant! I'm joking, but she came with to help out taking some photos, and so we could eat a lunch by the pier afterwards.

Min opplevelse og erfaring i Miss Norway konkurransen så bygges det på hva hver eneste deltager velger å gjøre innenfor konkurransen. Hvor langt vil man nå og hva man velger å legge sin innsats på. Jeg oppfordrer flere å melde seg på som deltager i 2019. Det å være deltager i denne konkurransen kan gi det store fortrinn i fremtiden. Sosiale medier og markedsføring er noe som er veldig viktig og dette er noe du lærer utrolig mye i Miss Norway.

Påmelding til Miss Norway 2019 er i gang. Og spør du meg, så meld deg på! Og hvis man blir kvalifisert som deltager da kommer du videre til et gratis introduksjonskurs. Der får dere all informasjonen dere trenger. Dette er så klart helt frivillig, og det er selvfølgelig mulig å trekke seg hvis man vil. Men jeg er veldig stolt over å ha nådd helt frem til finalen, og alt jeg har fått oppleve.

Hello All!

A few days ago I really had the best afternoon in a long time. I got to FaceTime with all the lovely girls at Familia in Kenya. 

It was so good to see the girls again and that they are doing so good! I really have missed them a lot and think a lot about them. Now and then I get updates on how they are doing and so, but it’s actually very nice when we can talk in person an see them all.

The girls told me they had been studying a lot lately for their finals, and been working hard with their homework. That makes me very happy to hear! I also got to speak with Beatrice, which got taken in to the girls home a few months ago.

They are also so beautiful and kind and good hearted. I wish I could hug them all again. And hopefully I will be able too soon!❤️

All my thoughts goes to Kenya tonight,

Hello Everyone!

It has been such a beautiful day in Larvik today! After I finised work at the nursing home, I took to the boat right out to the island with my brother and friends! But now over to last nights' event.

So, we were supposed to actually do a designe your own t-shirt event on Monday, togethe with a customer night. But, due to bad weather (all of a sudden!) we needed to postpone the event. However, last night it was "nattbyen" in Larvik, which means that all stores are open until midnight, and there is a lot of fun things a promotions going on in the city center. So we decided to do the t-shirt station last night.

We wanted to put a mark on Dryss, and make it different by create something cool and unique that people remember. Which I really think we did! After working with Kathrine and the girls for a while, I really love the store and the envoirment so much. It is like we do have a little girl club here, and when the customer come, which are often local, they attend the girl club to and it create such a fun and energic experince. I think this is why so many people are coming back to Dryss, you feel taken in to the warm and its genuine.

Hei fine dere! Da har jeg satt i gang en spørsmålsrunde på Instagram kontoen min, Helene_Abildsnes, og du kan stille akkurat hvilket spørsmål du vil. For to uker siden, var jeg på "drive thru Reboost Coffeebar" i Sørlandsparken for å ta noen bilder til bloggen med ei venninne. Mens vi holdt på, kom tilfeldigvis en journalist forbi og ville hjelpe oss med bilder i bytte mot at han kunne skrive om oss på hjemmesiden. Måtte selvfølgelig gripe til meg denne sjansen, så her kan du lese det som ble skrevet. Dette ble skrevet på en side som heter «Humans of Kristiansand» og handler om tilfeldige folk på gata herifra.

There is no doubt that being an one out of eight finalists in the Miss Norway competition has been the greatest and biggest experiences of my life. 

It has always been a childhood dream to stand on stage in the worlds biggest beauty competiton; Miss Universe. I have always thought it was an unrealistic dream – but here I almost am. To some extent, I feel like my dream already came true just by competing in Miss Norway. 

Miss Norway has taught me that anything is possible. You just need to believe in yourself, have faith in your dream and go for it. Stand up for what you believe in and trust your decisions. This may seem like a «cliche», but it is true.

As you may have noticed it’s been quite a huge festival fever in Larvik the past week, and I have been very engaged together with my sponsor Dryss. 

About a week ago I had an amazing shoot again with Daniel Millian and Joceline Diaz. We did a very festival inspired shoot that would work for a lot of different people. Everything from rock chick, retro, bohemian and hipster. That was super cool. Joceline gave me a cool festival make up with some glitter and colors, and we put my hair in two small buns with some curly hair down and blue glitter in the roots.
